TheHiveMindsProduct engineering & software studio

We buildmobile appspeople actually use.

We are a three-founder software studio. We design, build and ship mobile apps, web platforms and backends — and you talk to the people writing the code.

01The studio

No account managers.
No layers in between.

A product engineering studio in Chennai, India. We take a business problem, design the system, write the code and ship it to real users — mobile, web and the backend under both.

02How we work

From a conversation
to a live product.

Four stages, roughly nine weeks for a typical MVP — and exactly what lands in your hands at the end of each one.

  1. 01Week 1

    Discovery & architecture

Core flows, stack choices and API contracts, agreed before anyone writes code.

    What you receive
    • User flow map
    • Stack decision record
    • API contract draft
    • Milestone plan
  2. 02Weeks 2–3

    High-fidelity design

Interactive wireframes that behave like the finished product. No generic templates.

    What you receive
    • Clickable prototype
    • Component inventory
    • Design tokens
    • Edge-case screens
  3. 03Weeks 3–8

    Build & test

Typed code, secure routes and native-grade performance, shipped in bi-weekly sprints.

    What you receive
    • Sprint builds
    • Preview environments
    • Test coverage
    • Performance budgets
  4. 04Week 9 onward

    Launch & support

Store submission, domain routing and telemetry — handed over ready to run.

    What you receive
    • Store listings live
    • Telemetry dashboards
    • Handover docs
    • Support window

04What we build

Four disciplines,
one team that owns all of them.

Most studios hand your project between specialists. Here the same three people carry it from the first wireframe to the store listing.

06Engagement

The terms, before
you have to ask for them.

What a build costs you in time, what you pay and when, who owns the code at the end, and what happens after launch. Same numbers we put in the contract.

MVP timeline

6–10 weeks

Discovery to a live store listing, run as bi-weekly sprint milestones with an interactive preview build at each one.

Payment schedule

30 / 40 / 30

Upfront, at milestone delivery, on final handover. No milestone is invoiced before you have seen working code for it.

Code & IP ownership

100% yours

Design files, Git repositories and cloud infrastructure are provisioned under your organisation from day one, with full access.

After launch

30 days + 3 months

Free bug fixes for 30 days and technical support for 3 months. Extended support and scaling contracts run ₹20k per month.

How it runs

01A channel, not a queueSlack or WhatsApp with the engineers writing your code, plus a structured weekly sync. No account manager relays your question.
02One owner per laneClient architecture, scoping and delivery, backend and cloud — a co-founder owns each and reads every line before it ships.
03Chennai, UTC+5:30We are based in Chennai and have delivered for clients in Spain, India and the USA.
04Small scopes are welcomeA single screen flow, an API rebuild, a store submission that keeps getting rejected — we will tell you honestly if we are the right fit.
07Track record

Products we've built —
for ourselves, and for clients.

Not everything below started as a client brief. Some of it we built and shipped under our own name first. Step through it — every claim links to something you can open.

SAEC Spotbus
Live fleetin daily campus operationGitHub

S.A. Engineering College put Spotbus on its real bus fleet — live Google Maps telemetry, route delay alerts, and separate driver and student portals. Open the repository and the code is right there.

No invented testimonials. We publish only outcomes you can verify yourself — store listings, public repositories and download counts. When a client is ready to be quoted by name, their words will appear here and not before.

08Questions

Straight answers,
before you ask.

The things people actually want to know before hiring a studio: who codes it, what it costs, who owns it, and what happens when it breaks.

The founders. There are no account managers or sales representatives. The people who architect your product are the ones writing every line of it.

Mobile: Flutter, Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android). Web: Next.js, React, Vite and Tailwind CSS. Backend: FastAPI (Python), Node.js, PostgreSQL, Supabase and Docker, deployed on AWS or serverless.

A high-fidelity MVP usually runs 6 to 10 weeks from discovery to deployment. We work in bi-weekly sprint milestones with a direct chat channel and interactive previews, so you always see progress.

You do — 100%. From day one, design assets, Git repositories and cloud infrastructure are provisioned under your organisation, with full access and visibility.

We are based in Chennai, India (UTC+5:30) and work with clients in Spain, India and the USA. Day-to-day communication runs on Slack and WhatsApp, with structured weekly syncs.

30 days of free bug fixes plus 3 months of technical support are included. Extended support and scaling contracts are available at ₹20k per month.

30% upfront, 40% at milestone delivery, 30% on final handover. You do not pay a milestone until you have seen working code for it.

Yes. Alongside full products we take on focused work — a single mobile screen flow, an API rebuild, a store submission that keeps getting rejected. Book the 30-minute call and we will tell you honestly if we are the right fit.

09Direct scheduling
